1. Golden Birthday Cupcakes
Ingredients:
- 1 Box of yellow cake mix
- Eggs, vegetable oil and water as described on the cake mix packet
- 2 containers of frosting
- 1 tablespoon of edible gold cake decoration luster dust
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat standard oven to 350°F, but if you are using dark or nonstick pans, 325°F is the recommended temperature. Line 24 standard muffin cups with metallic gold baking cups. Make cake mix and pour into cups, bake as described on the box, then turn out onto a cooling rack and allow it tocool.
Step 2: Using a star tipped frosting bag pipe frosting onto cooling cupcakes and allow frosting to set. This may take approximately 2 hours, be sure to test that the frosting is set. If frosting is still wet and smears to the touch, allow longer to set.

Ingredients:
- 1 bowl of chocolate cupcake mix
- 1 lot of Buttercream frosting mixture
- A variety of Gel color pastes

Step 1: Line mini muffin tins with mini baking cups or liners
Step 2: Fill cups or liners 2 thirds full of batter. Bake for 10 minutes or until a skewer when pushed into the cupcake come out clean. Turn out onto wire rack to cool.

- 1 cup of miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
- A box of yellow cake mix
- 1 cup of water

- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
